Located 15 miles north of Mahe, North Island offers a unique Robinson Crusoe barefoot luxury paradise. The island measures 2.5miles by 1 mile, an area of 210 hectares, and boasts 4 fabulous private beaches with excellent snorkelling and diving.

11 Villas individually designed to provide the ultimate in seclusion and comfort. Beautifully integrated into the natural granite boulders and rocks of the shoreline, and making use of local casuarinas and takamaka wood, each boasts 450sq m of living space and private garden. The air-conditioned study can also convert to a second bedroom.

The living-area (half-open to the elements - but with protective blinds!) also enjoys wide views of the glorious setting, while a private freshwater rock pool, sala pavilion and large hand-crafted panoramic wooden deck all add further memorable touches. Especially impressive is the open-air bathroom area – with sunken bath and shower, as well as a second outdoor shower. Each villas enjoys private butler service.

Facilities

North Island is home to four private beaches which are ideal for sun worshippers and the crystal waters have visibility up to 40 metres. There are numerous activities and excursions on hand including sea kayaking, island buggies, sunset bar walk, fly-fishing, turtle watching and trips to the neighbouring Silhouette Island.

The North Island Spa is a place of extreme natural beauty and timelessness where guests are able to enjoy a variety of services and techniques either at the Spa or from your own private villa.

The Island has a “no menu” concept when it comes to meals. They pride themselves in the uniqueness of every dish which makes up the Seychellois Creole flavours. The chef tailors every menu around the individual guests needs which makes a memorable culinary experience complimented by some of the world’s great wines and champagnes. The butler service caters for every need which ranges from in-villa meals to beach side picnics.
