Desroches Island Resort is set on the edge of a white sandy beach just one hour flight from Mahe. The Dive Centre offers excursions to dive spots including the amazing “Desroches Drop” or “The Canyon”; a mystifying labyrinth of extraordinary caves which provides a host of treasured experiences. The area is suitable for deep-sea fishing as the waters are rich in marine life like marlin, wahoo or tuna. St. Josephs Lagoon is not too far away and is an excellent place for saltwater fly-fishing. The excitement is not limited to the waters. Guests can just simply take pleasure in enjoying the view of the coconut groves by bicycle or perhaps island hopping the neighboring isles.

At Restaurant Le Veloutier the chef is on hand to create mouth-watering Creole and International dishes for guests to enjoy under the natural thatched roofs in a perfect ambience with views of the swimming pool. The Bar l’Amirante also overlooks the swimming pool but with a barefoot luxury feel. Guests can enjoy either a relaxing breakfast or an intimate candlelit dinner or sipping cocktails at sunset.
