This villa is the top category at the Paradis and has the same features as the Executive Villas but enjoys an extra master bedroom and bathroom, which is on a first floor level.

Restaurants, Bars, Spa & Children's Club

Paradis offers a superb choice of dining with four restaurants at the resort itself and a further three along the beach at Dinarobin.

Meal plan: breakfast and evening meal (Bed and breakfast if staying in one of the superb villas). Dinner is either buffet or table d'hote in selected restaurants only with a la carte dishes available at a supplement. Occassionally a restaurant may close for a group booking or during low season. Paradis guests can also take advantage of the 3 restaurants available at Dinarobin although from time to time these may be reserved solely for Dinarobin guests.

The hotel's main restaurant overlooks the beach and swimming pool and has been cleverly designed to offer a number of intimate dining areas of just 40 seats. Le Brabant offers buffet style dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dress code in the daytime is casual and in the evening is smart casual. Open between 0730 - 1000 for breakfast, 1230 - 1430 for a la carte lunch, tea and pancakes at the main bar from 1530 - 1700 and buffet style dinner every night from 1900 - 2230. Seats 350

A cosy à la carte Italian restaurant facing the lagoon. La Palma invites you to enjoy an intimate and convivial dining atmosphere. Dress code in the daytime is casual and in the evening is smart casual. Dinner is a la carte and by reservation.

The Blue Marlin with its striking wood and thatched roof, is an elegant venue where you can take breakfast, lunch and both à la carte and table d’hôte evening menus with a focus on seafood specialities. Dress code in the daytime is casual and in the evening is smart casual. A reservation will be required for dinner. This restaurant has stunning panoramic ocean views!

Set between Paradis and its sister hotel Dinarobin is La Ravanne. Here you can dine beneath the stars or under thatched canopies while chefs prepare delicious table d’hôte and à la carte Creole dishes – crab cooked in banana leaves is a particular speciality. Dress code in the daytime is casual and in the evening is smart casual. Arrive at the restaurant by boat, for a really special, romantic start to your evening.

Overlooking the swimming pool and lagoon, this bar opens from 1000 – 0100 and offers a selection of tropical cocktails.

Situated on the terrace of the Blue Marlin restaurant with wonderful sea views, enjoy pre-dinner drinks or a light afternoon snack. Opens between 1000 – 2330 with the snack menu available from 1500 – 1730.

This bar is open between 1830 – 2330 and serves a variety of homemade Mauritian rum cocktails.

The spa is set with in the gardens of the hotel and offers a full range of spa treatments from a team of superb therapists. A number of the treatments include the use of exclusive Clarins products.

All Beachcomber hotels have a free Bob Marlin Mini Club which welcomes children aged 3 - 12 years 7 days a week. The Paradis Bob Marlin Mini Club is open from 0900 to 2300 daily.

The clubs are run by qualified professionals who provide fun and educational indoor and outdoor activities to keep your little ones entertained and happy.

Every day there is a set activities programme which you can dip in and out of, if you also want to spend some family time together during the day.

Children and infants under 3 can attend the Club but must be accompanied by an adult or baby sitter.

Activities

Unlike other holiday destinations and hotels at all of the Beachcomber hotels in Mauritius many of the land and water sports are free for guests - including water-skiing.

Paradis has 6 floodlit tennis courts (4 hard courts and 2 artificial grass, Head tennis racket hire is complimentary however tennis balls will need to be purchased), table tennis, volley ball, and bocciball which are all complimentary to guests. The hotel also offers free weekly group tennis lessons and a pro is on hand for private lessons (which are at an extra cost). Mountain bikes are available for hire and the 18-hole Paradis Golf Course is also on your doorstep - at approximately £10 a round it's superb value - see the golf tab for further information on the golf.

Paradis has an extensive gym which has machines and free weights and offers a number of complimentary aerobic classes.

With its great location Paradis is the perfect spot for watersports and there are plenty of free sports available including: sailing, water-skiing, windsurfing, snorkelling trips, kayaks, pedaloes and glass bottom boat trips. The hotel also offers weekly free group windsurfing and sailing lessons.

Paradis has its own fleet of deep sea fishing boats so is the perfect base if you are a keen fisherman. The boats all come with quality tackle and bait and offer full and half day charters.

Paradis has it's own PADI-Diving Centre with a comprehensive diving programme. A day time dive costs from £40 per person per dive

Golf in Mauritius at Paradis

Paradis is simply a superb golf resort with the first tee just 20 metres from the hotel reception - golf on your door step does not get much better or closer than this! The course itself runs along the coast below the base of the magnificent Le Morne Mountain, and you will have to hit over the Indian Ocean on at least 5 of the holes - in fact it's quite easy to hit into the ocean on a few more of the holes!

Paradis offer twice weekly group lessons and a friendly weekly competition which is the perfect chance to meet fellow golfers.

Paradis is affiliated with a further 2 excellent 18-hole golf courses which are both just 20 minutes from Paradis - Golf Du Chateau (20 minutes drive south) and Tamarina Golf Estate (20 minutes north). At both courses guests will enjoy discounted green fees, VIP status and preferred tee times. All three courses offer an excellent challenge to the low and high handicap golfer.
