Located on a peninsula between the sea and Le Morne mountain on the South West coast of the island, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from the airport.

Accomodation

The all suite accommodation at Dinarobin is arranged in Mauritian style villas each featuring two, four or six suites. Residential in style each suite is dominated by colonial bay windows, with spacious terraces or balconies and huge bathrooms.  For families Dinarobin offers superb two-bedroom Family Suites and Club Family Suites.  Club Family Suites are beachfront and include complimentary membership of the Club at Dinarobin.

All Suites include: Bathroom with bathtub, shower and separate W.C, dressing area, double or twin beds, minibar, complimentary tea & coffee facilities, safe, ironing board and iron, international direct dialling telephone and fax, television with satellite channels

Restaurants & Bars

Dinarobin offers fantastic dining with a choice of three restaurants at the hotel itself and a further four located along the beach at Paradis.  If you do decide to dine at Paradis golf carts are on hand to take you between the resorts.

Meal plan: breakfast and evening meal. Dinner is either buffet or table d'hote in selected restaurants only with a la carte dishes available at a supplement. Occassionally a restaurant may close for a group booking or during low season. Dinarobin guests can also take advantage of the 4 restaurants available at Paradis although from time to time these may be reserved solely for Paradis guests.

L’Harmonie – The hotels main restaurant is split into 3 smaller dinning areas and overlooks the lagoon.  L’Harmonie is open for breakfast, lunch and in the evening table d'hote and themed buffets. Dress code in the daytime is casual and in the evening is smart casual. Open between 07:00 – 10:00 for breakfast, 12:30 – 15:30 for à la carte lunch and 1900 – 2200 for dinner. Seats 250.

Saveur des Iles – is Dinarobin's gastronomic restaurant offering a romantic evening alternative, presenting superb French cuisine with a unique Mauritian flavour on a table d’hôte and à la carte basis. Dress code is smart casual. Open 6 days a week, dinner is on reservation, between 1900 – 2200. Seats 45.

Le Morne Plage – Situated right on the beach Le Morne Plage offers feet in the sand light lunches and drinks under thatched roofs.  Open every day from 1230 – 1700. Seats 60.

Le Cabanon  - Authentic yet refined atmosphere in a rustic beach bar overlooking the lagoon. It's the perfect spot for cokctails at sundown.  Open daily from 1100 – 1800.

Le Mahogany Bar & Terrase – Cosy & charming bar overlooking the beach and pool. Open between 1000 – 0100.

Martello Lounge – The Club at Dinarobin – This is an exclusive lounge for guests staying in a Beachfront Club Junior Suite, Club Senior Suite or Club Family Suite. Open from 0800 – 2000.

The Spa by Clarins at Dinarobin is – in our opinion – the finest on Mauritius. Set in a thatched Mauritian villa hidden away in the hotel gardens, the spa has its own private courtyard and freshwater pool where you can relax after a treatment. With six massage rooms, two hydrotherapy rooms, two balneotherapy rooms, two hammams, two saunas, four Ayurvedic cabins and meditation deck, a cardio-fitness centre and a juice bar, you can forget the outside world and focus on rejuvenating and reenergizing in a simply blissful environment.

Bob Marlin Mini Club

All Beachcomber hotels have a free Bob Marlin Mini Club which welcomes children aged 3 – 12 years from 0900 – 21000, 7 days a week.

The clubs are run by qualified professionals who provide fun and educational indoor and outdoor activities to keep your little ones entertained and happy.

Every day there is a set activities programme which you can dip in and out of, if you also want to spend some family time together during the day.

Unlike other holiday destinations and hotels at all of the Beachcomber hotels many of the land and water sports are free for guests - including water-skiing.

Land Sports
Dinarobin has 3 floodlit tennis courts (artificial grass, Head tennis racket hire is complimentary however tennis balls will need to be purchased) - there are free weekly group tennis lessons, volley ball, table tennis and bocciball, all of which are complimentary for guests.  Mountain bike hire is available and the Paradis Golf Course is on your door step.

Gym

There is an extensive gym located close to the Spa which offers machines and free weights.

Water Sports
Gentle, inviting waters make Mauritius a perfect destination for water activities - water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing, glass bottom boat trips, snorkelling trips, kayaks and pedal boats are all free of charge for guests.   In addition the hotel also offers weekly free group windsurfing and sailing lessons.

Deep Sea Fishing

In season Mauritius offers superb deep sea fishing and guests at Dinarobin have access to the fishing fleet based just down the beach at Paradis.  The charters offer half and full day trips on fully equiped specialist fishing boats (including quality tackle and bait). 

Diving
Dinarobin shares its dive centre with Paradis.  It's a PADI-Diving Centre (based at Paradis) with a comprehensive diving programme. There are a number of decent dive sites within 20 minutes boat ride of the hotel - a day dive costs approximately £38 per dive

Golf at Dinarobin

The Dinarobin is a short buggy ride to the first tee box of Paradis Golf Course.  The course itself actually runs behind some of the suites of the hotel and along the coast below the base of the magnificent Le Morne Mountain, you will have to hit over the Indian Ocean on at least 5 of the holes - in fact it's quite easy to hit into the ocean on a few more of the holes!

Paradis Golf Course offers twice weekly group lessons and a friendly weekly competition which is the percfect chance to meet fellow golfers.

3 golf courses to enjoy

Paradis Golf Course is affiliated with a further 2 excellent 18-hole golf courses which are both just 20 minutes from Dinarobin - Golf Du Chateau (20 minutes drive south) and Tamarina Golf Estate (20 minutes north). At both courses guests will enjoy discounted green fees, VIP status and preferred tee times. All three courses offer an excellent challenge to the low and high handicap golfer.
