The three Uma Pool Suites have infinity-edge pools and uninterrupted views across the valley down to the snaking river.

The Shambhala Suite, located on the southern edge of the resort, has possibly the best infinity-edge pool, and a private treatment area.

COMO Shambhala Spa

In recognition of Bali’s powerful spirituality, Uma Ubud offers a substantial COMO Shambhala Retreat, designed for those seeking greater health and mental quietude through yoga and related treatments. Facilities include four treatment rooms, a reflexology area, meditation bale, steam, sauna and pool. There is also a gym.

Treatments are based on Asian traditions, with an emphasis on the Balinese heritage where beauty and massage rituals form a key part of daily life (the Javanese Lulur Royal Bath – incorporating exfoliation with massage, a scented bath and skin softening treatment – is still used prior to wedding ceremonies).

At certain times, Uma Ubud hosts Yoga Weeks, including women-only retreats led by world-renowned teachers. Guests can also partake in Fitness Weeks, focusing on physical training and health in Bali's unspoilt hinterland. Adventure Challenge Weeks incorporate trekking, white water rafting and volcano climbing with holistic therapies.
