Six Senses Destination Spa Phuket is a fitness haven for guests, and features world-class services and facilities with innovative concepts and a diverse range of activities. It provides a focus on personal development through interrelated physical and experiential activities. Programs offered include Kinesis functional training, physiotherapy, two gymnasiums - with one in the natural surroundings of the jungle, meditation on a small islet, bootcamp sessions on the beach and an organically shaped lap pool.
The Spa
The assimilation of four traditional Asian Spa concepts, Indonesian, Indian, Thai and Chinese; with the country of origin creating a themed approach to spa therapies and services - the focus is on relaxing and balancing the mind, pampering and pleasure for body and caring for and calming the spirit.

The fundamental element of the destination spa is to take you a step beyond balancing the senses and to create an opportunity for lifelong life-enrichment. The 7th Sense is an environment within the destination spa where the six senses are engaged, supported and developed. The 7th Sense provides a cocoon of nurturing surroundings to help cultivate Wellness, where guests are transformed - like caterpillar to butterfly - towards a new stage in life.
The 7th Sense in Phuket is defined by an innovative and highly evocative concept that embraces the themes of Chinese, Indian, Indonesian and Thai inspired architecture, using Feng Shui to create harmony. The facility covers an area of over three thousand square meters.
The Destination Spa concept creates the opportunity to offer total Wellness through the complete assimilation of Spa, Holistic Fitness and Integrative Health; enriching people’s lives by means of developing a balance of wellbeing that integrates all the senses. The wellness concept is taken to the next level with the 7th Sense ensuring that guests balance and have faith in progressing their Physical, Stress Management, Educational, Nutritional, Social, Emotional and Spiritual wellbeing
Wellness Inspired Gastronomy
Food and healthy dining form an integral part of our wellness concept. Dietary requirements of our guests are taken into consideration and sometimes adjusted as the outcome of a holistic consultation upon arrival with our wellness team. The landscaping at the Six Senses Destination Spa is largely edible which allows us to apply the highest standards in chemically free and sound ecological cultivation. As we are on an island, growing as much as possible on the premises enables us to reduce carbon emissions by decreasing the daily number of boat rides needed to supply our chefs with the finest and freshest produce. Our dishes are prepared in their own juices in order to preserve their natural flavour. We invite our guests to accompany their dinner with their choice from our wine list. All our wines are organically or even bio-dynamically produced and have been selected to represent the best in organic wines from the four corners of the planet. We do, however, recommend our guests to drink in moderation. Our chefs also feel strongly that our guests should be able to take something home with them, after the time they spend with us. We therefore offer cooking classes in our ‘Cuisine Cave’ preparing our guests to also bring wellness inspired gastronomy to their own dining table, back home. In addition we make sure our weekly event calendar includes pizza baking, island barbecues and special dishes prepared in our own tandoori oven, making sure dining experiences at the Six Senses Destination Spa are most memorable. |
