Deluxe Rooms

Our deluxe rooms are spacious with a minimum of 48 square meters including your own private balcony overlooking great landscapes. All are air-conditioned and feature a polished teak wood floor, rattan curtains, rich Thai fabric and are equipped with either a king size or twin beds.

The bathroom either opens onto the bedroom or overlooks the garden. Very well appointed, it features a bathtub, a separate walk-in shower and toilets.

Bayfront Deluxe

The bedroom offers a great living space with polished teak wood floor, rich Thai cotton upholstery, rattan curtains and Siamese artifacts.

A large bathroom with double vanity basins, separate walk-in shower and toilets; featured in this bathroom is a bathtub set behind a large window offering partial views of the bay and the garden.

Pavilion Suite

All suites' master bedroom have a king-size bed and offer refined Thai style interior design with polished teak wood floor, rattan curtains and Siamese artifacts.

In the Pavilion Suite Two Bedrooms, the second bedroom is equipped with twin beds and features an oversized bathroom with double vanity basins and a bathtub overlooking a private manicured garden equipped with an open-air shower. The second bedroom is well detached from the master bedroom and living room building and therefore offers complete privacy to its occupants.

The oversized bathroom of the Pavilion suite features double vanity basins, inside separate walk-in shower and toilets, and a bathtub overlooking a small manicured garden also equipped with an open-air shower.

One Bedroom Beach Villa

 Located within landscaped garden and facing the sea. The villa consists of a large bedroom equipped with a king-size bed and decorated in a Thai style interior design including polished teak wood floor, rattan curtains and Siamese artifacts. The adjacent bathroom includes double vanity basins, walk-in shower and toilets; also featured is a great panel glass encased bathtub overlooking a miniature garden also equipped with an outdoor shower. The 55 sqm. swimming pool - shared with 3 other small villas - is located just a step away from the villa and meters away from the beach.

One Bedroom Pool Villa 

(Total living area of 204 sq m) Built on a hilly land, spacious, elegant with views of Kan Tiang bay and the surrounding land. The villa consists of a master bedroom facing the bay; it is equipped with either, king size bed or twin beds and decorated in contemporary Thai style. The adjacent bathroom includes double vanity basins, walk-in shower equipped with rain-shower, and a large bathtub set behind a window panel overlooking the bay and the tropical garden. Our exciting choices of 4 restaurants & 5 bars including an ever popular beach bar, offer an extensive variety of cuisines to suit everyone's tastes. Each restaurant has its own style and ambience and is situated so as to provide a superb view of the pool and/or the Andaman Sea. We offer delicious traditional and tasty dishes for which Thai food are deservedly famous, plus the best recipes of seafood and international cuisine, all prepared with extra fresh ingredients, chosen with care by our cooks and chefs.

The Spa aims at bringing back guest to nature; built in the shape of a village style, the pretty small straw roofed Salas blend totally with the natural beauty of the jungle. Each has been designed with nature at heart, and fashioned with stones, native wood, bamboo, iron, ropes and ceramics.

A small boutique PADI dive center is situated within the Pimalai Resort & Spa on the edge of a lush tropical rain forest on Ba Kantiang beach. We welcome guests from all resorts, and are the only dive center on Koh Lanta to operate dive trips direct from the south of the island, so you are only a short trip away from the best and most remote dive sites in Thailand.

We offer daily dive tours, special trips and night dives from November to May (weather permitting). Our new 20 meter boat is the most modern and luxurious dive boat operating in Andaman waters, providing a stable platform, furnished air conditioned saloons and sun decks. You will find our dive staff and well trained boat crew helpful, friendly and professional, they will look after your individual needs, and safety. Instruction is available in several languages. So no stress, no crowds, you just relax and enjoy the diving.

Water Sports and Beach Activities
Available free of charge are canoes, windsurf board, sailing boat and boogie boards. There are no motorized water sports (jet skis, water ski) available on the island. Soccer balls, Frisbees, children's toys and other pieces of equipment are also available.

Exercise
As well as jogging on the beach and swimming in the pools or the sea, guests may also wish to exercise in our well equipped Fitness Room or have a game of tennis, shoot a few hoops at our newly opened outdoor sports Center.

Islands Excursions
A number of small islands are part of the Lanta Marine National Park; they are protected islands and offer great snorkeling trips! Regular excursions are arranged throughout the week to Koh Rok, Koh Kradan, Koh Haa, Koh Gnai where vast coral reefs with brightly colored fish and sea life can be seen. Koh Muk is renowned for its Emerald cave; a 60 meters long tunnel that runs through a mountain and leads to a lagoon at the bottom of a sheer vertical shaft in the mountain. All island destinations are subject to weather and sea conditions.

Squid Safari Sunset Cruise (November to April only)
Enjoy 2 hours of relaxing time & fun trying to catch a Squid! A combination of skills hooking a squid from one hand whilst holding a cool refreshing local beer in the other! You catch! We BBQ!

Thai Cooking Lessons
Our classes have become hugely popular; learn a few famous recipes that you can take back home; you will cook for yourself under the guidance of one of our Head Chefs; you will also receive a recipe guide booklet, a souvenir Pimalai cooking apron to take home and if you do really well, our Chef will hand you an official "Arroy Dee" cooking certificate! This could lead you to set up your own Thai restaurant back home!

Cycling
Bicycles are available at the resort with our compliments. Most of the roads on the island have now been completed slicing through the existing jungle; up, down with some great view points; you may also encounter the sight of monkeys and huge lizards.

Elephant Trekking
There are a few Elephant camps on the island and yes, you can experience the joy of riding your own elephant in Koh Lanta. Don't forget to bring a couple of bananas with you…elephants need "fuel" too!

Lanta Marine National Park Trekking
The park is located some 6 kms from Pimalai at the southern tip of the island at the end of a spectacular, although bumpy, coastal drive. It's a great walk going past fabulous trees and Gibbons type monkeys are usually there to welcome you.

Lanta Island Exploration
You may rent a car at the resort or we can provide you with a driver (recommended) to take you to sites of interest. These may include shopping at Ban Saladan, the main town on Koh Lanta and visiting the "Old Port" a traditional village on the island's east coast.
