Luxor is the perfect place to explore the wonders of ancient Egypt. The awe inspiring Temple of Karnak is one of the largest temple complexes still in existence while the smaller Luxor Temple is in the centre of town. On the west bank of the Nile, the Valley of the Kings is dotted with tombs of Pharaohs, including that of Tutankhamen, while close by is the Temple of Hapshetsut and the massive Colossi of Memnon.
